Lower back pain

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, and we also specialise in spinal injuries and post-op rehabilitation.

Over to you

What lower back pain feels like

150–250 words in your words: how your patients typically describe it, what makes it better or worse, when it tends to show up. Your current site doesn't cover this — it goes straight to the list of conditions. This is the part that matches what someone actually types into Google before they know what to call their problem.

What we treat

Some of the lower back injuries and conditions we treat are:

  • Muscular strains, joint irritations (facet joint dysfunction)

  • Postural related issues

  • Disc injuries (disc bulge or herniations)

  • Sciatic pain

  • Discectomy surgery post-op rehabilitation

  • Back and core strengthening

How we treat

Initial consultation consists of a thorough history taking relating to your pain and injury, followed by comprehensive assessment, functional goal-setting and physical examination.

We take the time to ascertain the underlying cause of your pain.

We then provide hands-on manual therapy treatment, education for lifestyle modifications, and exercise to aid in pain relief.

Over to you

How back pain specifically is treated here

200–300 words. The copy above is your general approach, taken from your homepage — it isn't specific to backs. Your shoulder blog post names the techniques you actually use (joint mobilisations, soft tissue release, dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping, therapeutic exercise), and it's genuinely good writing. The equivalent for lower backs is what's missing.

Over to you — clinical

When to seek help urgently

A short list of signs that mean someone should see a GP or go to an emergency department rather than book with you. This one has to be yours — you're the physiotherapist, and under the National Law you're also the advertiser, so the clinical judgement needs to be yours rather than ours.

Worth including even though it sends a few readers elsewhere. Patient testimonials aren't permitted when advertising a regulated health service, so visible honesty is one of the few trust signals still available to you — and it tends to be more persuasive than a claim anyway.

Common questions

How long is an appointment?+

All appointments are one-on-one. Initial appointments are up to 1 hour, and follow-up appointments are 30 minutes.

Can I claim on my health fund?+

We have HICAPS for immediate health fund claiming. The gap payment can be paid via cash or card.

Do you accept Medicare, workers compensation or CTP?+

We welcome Medicare (EPC), Workers Compensation and CTP referrals. We appreciate you providing full claim details at your initial appointment.

How does a Medicare care plan work?+

For Medicare Care Plans, the full fee of the appointment is charged to a debit or credit card and the rebate is returned onto your card. A receipt can be given for manual claiming as well.

These four are taken word-for-word from your current site, and they're all administrative. The clinical questions — do I need a scan, should I rest or keep moving, how many appointments will I need — are the ones that win search results, and they aren't answered anywhere on your site yet. A few sentences each from you would cover it.
